Been a frequent reader, but not much of a commenter.

Want to let you know I totally enjoy your blog – I feel a little like an ex-RN, but still totally relate. (except that whole cap thing… I had to borrow one for my graduation picture, as I refused to buy one!)

I will absolutely join the tribute and will spread the word to the few who read my blog…
    Thanks for the link.

I’m wondering if there is any way to be allowed to blog about the people that you knew that died on 9/11… If given the chance, I’d like to blog about Danny and Joe Shea, but don’t know if they let you do that… I didn’t check out the link yet, but just thinking out loud….

When I signed up, my husband wanted to make sure we got a specific person (the uncle of his best friend). After we confirmed he had not been picked yet, we emailed the person running the website and it was no problem.

    Dr. Nic,

Thanks for the tip! I actually found out that one of the brother’s was already chosen, but the other was not, so I will be writing about Danny Shea. I went to the blog of the person who was assigned Joe Shea, and as it turns out, it’s the mother of a baby that was in a NICU (not ours) for an extended period of time – how coincidental. She was glad that someone who knew her assigned person had stopped by her blog. Small world sometimes!

    Take care,
