My Wild Irish Migraine

Dear Notre Dame Fighting Irish,

I sit here watching Michigan beat the shamrocks out of you.

Oh beloved Irish, forget the Gipper!

Win one for the nurse with the ER blog!

Sigh. Too late.

I hate Michigan. Almost as much as I hate Stanford. Ooops – Addendum: I meant USC!

Yea, but I have faith. And so I sat with my 10/10 migraine and prayed for a gridiron miracle.

Would somebody pass the Kleenex?

I’m taking a Vicodin and going to bed.

Still love ya, Brady. There’s always next week.

Your Biggest Fan, Me.

(Go Irish! And rest up for Michigan State.)

sorry about the migraine, Kim. I’m even sorry about the Irish…not that I’ve turned into an ND fan, but I certainly would rather see you happy than the obnoxious Big 10 fans I’ll have to hear from on Monday.
    Feel better soon,

Amazing, isn’t it, how we get so attached — or detached, as in the case of USC. And my choices have nothing to do with where I went to school, having gone to a little division III school that never makes the papers. Go Huskies, Ducks, Bruins, Bears. Boo Stanford, USC. And, of course, Hurricanes.

Sorry, Kim, but I’m from Michigan (but I went to MSU for a year before transferring to poor little division II Michigan Tech). However, George Gipp is form my hometown and our high school fight song is the Notre Dame fight song (words are a little different, as you’d imagine).

Hope the head is better today — wish you had been in San Antonio!

Imagine how bad Regis feels — he was there!

I’ll have to continue rooting for my friend Max’s Ducks — with the ugliest uniforms in any college sport, how can you not cheer for them?

‘Nother Duck fan here, and we did a job on Stanford for you (wasn’t pretty, but a W is a W). Ducks are 3-0, 1-0 in conference.

BTW, if you haven’t had time to use a sterile gauze on your copious tears, and thereby haven’t read the headlines in the papers, NOTRE DAME IS OVER-RATED!

I feel your pain, my brother and I were VERY unpleasant to be around after the Saints lost!

lol, I keep getting tagged, so TAG, you’re it again! This is an easy one though . . . The seven songs you are currently listening to. ;o) BTW, you can start with the Notre Dame fight song (I almost listed it myself)!
