Do You Seeketh the Grail? Check Out Grand Rounds!

I have a confession to make.

Oh, indeed-eth I do!

I have never seen “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”

Me. Lover of all things British. Keeper of all things Royal.

The one who actually stayed UP when Charles married Camilla.

Okay, I didn’t really do that.

But you get the picture.

I’ve no excuse as to why I haven’t seen it.

But don’t let any excuse keep you from going, dare I say it?, running over to Topher’s site at The Rumors Are True and checking out a most interesting edition of Grand Rounds.

And I would be remiss if I did not mention that Change of Shift goes up on Thursday with guest host Julie from Life in the NHS! Send in those nursing-related submissions to Julie at lifeinthenhs at btinternet dot com. Or, use Blog Carnival! Either way, be sure to submit!

Kim- Have you ever read the nonsense poem “Jabberwocky” by Lewis Carroll? If so… then, even more so than The Holy Grail… you must find a copy of Monty Python’s movie “The Jabberwock”… I could not stay in an upright position for any significant period of time while watching that movie…. I was actually rolling on the floor laughing. Anyone with asthma should have their inhaler immediately at hand while viewing this! It is possibly the funniest movie I have ever seen.

OMG! You haven’t seen “Monty Python’s The Holy Grail”! Which rock have you been under? You simply must see it and be sure to toilet yourself prior to, or heck just order yourself and indwelling catheter – as you are sure to wet yourself more than x1. And when “Spamalot” comes to SF you must go (but only after you “The Holy Grail” and “The Life of Brian”).

I’m fond of British royalty too. I thought that I was the only one who got up in the middle of the night to watch British spectacles.

MP’s The Holy Grail is a classic…one of my brothers and I introduced younger brother to it many years ago, as a kind of “right of passage.” 🙂

MP’s troupe has a skit on childbirth that is a classic, too, which makes me absolutely wet my pants.
