MASH a Godiva Chocolate at Grand Rounds

mash

You’ve gotta hand it to Rita Schwab.

She is not only the author of the MSSP Nexus Blog.

She handles yearly blips in the time/space fiction/nonfiction continuum with grace and class.

This time she meets Charles Winchester the Third, just off the boat from the 4033rd MASH unit wandering around her hospital.

And manages to finagle a Godiva chocolate bar, all in the hosting of this week’s Grand Rounds.

Don’t tell Charles, but my favorite doctor was Hawkeye.

Alan Alda was mighty fine back in the day.

In fact, when I see him in new shows, like “West Wing”, I’m shocked that he’s aged!

But he’s still cute….

******************************

I’m thinking it may be time for a medical blogosphere discussion on the nature of Grand Rounds and how some of us have viewed its evolution in the last year.

Look for a soon-to-be posted opinion piece that I hope will encourage dialouge regarding the future trajectory of the ‘Rounds. I don’t think it should go through the Grand Rounds Google group, because not all medical bloggers are members of that mailing list.

I’ll throw out some ideas, opinions, observations and see what sticks, what irks and what chafes!

Then again, I may be the only one sticking, irked and chafing.

Oooo…way to much information. Enough of my personal problems!

Enjoy Grand Rounds!

And congratulations to Rita on two years of MSSP Nexus Blog blogging!

Here’s to another two!

I’m curious about that as well – especially what “GR Google group” means. I guess I’m not a card carrying member of that club.
