5000This is big!

You can earn a scholarship to nursing school!

Are you attending, or planning to attend an accredited US nursing program?

Then you are eligible!

First place is $3500 dollars!

It’s an essay competition so if you can write, you can be the recipient of money for nursing school.

Check out the requirements on the Nursing Jobs.org site – be sure to scroll down for the details.

It’s that time of year again!

Riders are registering for the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge, a 192 mile, two day bicycle ride across the state.

In its 27th year as the main fundraising event for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the event raises money for oncology programs and cancer research.

Last year they raised $26 million dollars.

This year, for the second time, fellow blogger Dr. Sam Blackman of Blog, MD is putting on his biker shorts and making the trip in honor of his patients.

You can read their stories here, at Ride For Them 2007.

Please join me in supporting Dr. Sam in this endeavor by making a donation in support of his ride and the fight against cancer.

You can find the details here.
