Grand Rounds: It’s Inspired!

It this not the most beautiful photo?

Very inspirational…and the perfect backdrop for this week’s Grand Rounds announcement!

Wandering Visitor proposed a theme of “Things That Inspire Us”. It appears that our inspirations are as varied as our personalities.

I’m looking forward to sitting with my coffee and spending some quality time with this edition!

Change of Shift is under the auspices of Beth at Pixel RN this week. Get those nursing/nursing related posts in! Blog Carnival is always an efficient way to submit (see the button on this page) or you can send your posts directly to Beth at bethcoll66 at hotmail dot com.

Thanks to Beth for taking on hosting duties this week!

Calling all nurses!

Calling all nurses to the Nursing Voices forum, that is!

Come over and visit and don’t be shy! I’m one of the moderators for Nursing Voices (along with Mother Jones and Geena from Code Blog).

Since we are talking “inspiration” this week, I’d like to know who your most memorable colleague is/was. I posted mine and I used her real name. I hope someone in her family sees it, she’s a great nurse.

Here is the link to that topic: Memorable Colleagues.

After you’ve told us about your favorite colleagues, check out the other topics and dive in!

And if you are still jonesing for some nursing discussions, check out our nursing forum colleagues!

This week saw an explosion in nursing forums with Beth branching out with Nursing Link and Terry (new blogger!) jumping in with both feet at Everyday Nurses!

The way I see it is, there is room for everyone in the pool and there is some great swimming going on in the nursing blogosphere!

Please keep the family of Susan (How Can I Keep From Singing?) in your prayers.

Her son is nearing the end of his fight against neuroblastoma. He just celebrated his seventh birthday.

Susan, if you are reading – you are in our hearts.
