A Rhyme of a Time at Grand Rounds!

cat

Would you read them in a truck?

I would read them at Starbucks!

Except…I’m not there.

But I’m not letting that stop me from reading this week’s edition of Grand Rounds, very cleverly compiled and presented by Dr. Rob at Musings of a Distractible Mind!

I could never figure out if The Cat was real or a figment of the kids’ imaginations.

Too bad The Cat doesn’t deliver lattes!

Blogger

I thought I’d introduce the latest member of the family.

This is Blogger T. Squirrel, a young squirrel that has taken residence in my backyard. He is fearless. He hangs out with my cats. My cats don’t bother him – if they get too close (closer than a foot), Blogger yells at them and they back off.

He is so young he doesn’t know to be afraid!

We discovered him the other day when my two BIG dogs were nose-to-nose with him at the fence!

He now eats official “Squirrel Chow”, has a tiny water bowl and my husband put a squirrel bed in the tree.

Oh, and I have met his mother. Last August, she would come down the avocado tree and chew out my dogs who were lounging on the other side of the yard and give a piece of her mind to any cat that would come within her sight.

Blogger is quite the cool dude squirrel. Hope he stays!
