Redondos Magnificos y Feliz Thanksgiving!
Hola! I’d write more in Spanish, but my keyboard won’t cooperate!
Grand Rounds comes to us from Mexico this week, as Enrico takes on hosting duties at Mexico Medical Student for the second time!
The last time he hosted he gave us music to read by. In honor of Thanksgiving he does it again using American composers.
With this being the holiday week, my schedule is a bit off so I’ll be sitting down to Grand Rounds with a nice after-Thanksgiving drink as I peruse the posts tomorrow.
Grand Rounds and alcohol. Now that should be interesting!

Thanks! There’s no Thanksgiving here (when the Spanish arrived in Mexico, um, they were kinda not very nice…
) Always wanting another reason to celebrate, Thanksgiving is recognized here informally, but there’s no day off. Locals refer to it as día de pavo–literally, “turkey day”.
