I Am Legend

A few years back, while watching “Jurassic Park”, I screamed in the theater.

I am not prone to screaming in theaters.

But I have never screamed so loud, or so often, as I did today watching “I Am Legend”.

And I have never cried so hard at the ending of a movie as I did with “I Am Legend”.

I bought the book today, but the book – while classic – is not the movie.

Some may call it a horror movie; I would call it a medical thriller.

I won’t give the ending away, but the name “Robert Neville” should rank right up there with the best movie heroes of all time.

Is there anything Will Smith can’t do?

Whatever you do, see this movie in the theater! I’m going again tomorrow with my daughter.

And I’ll be buying it on DVD the day it comes out.

My Yahoo mail account has gone screwy again today, and has deposited over 25000 emails into my .mac box. If you are sending a last minute post to Change of Shift, be sure to send it to caroline at brainscramble dot org.

And look for me to have a change of email address very soon!

I AM LEGEND was amazing!! I saw it Friday and enjoyed it thoroughly! I don’t think there is anything Will can’t do! 🙂 Enjoy your re-play of the movie!

I haven’t seen it yet, but have read the book. It looks like they took quite a few liberties with the story to make the film, but I imagine Neville puttering around in the house doesn’t make for entertaining cinema.
