Change of Shift, or Gentlemen, Start…Your…Engines!

…is hosted by Dr. Emer over at Parallel Universes!

Many thanks to the good doctor for hosting the nursing blogosphere this week.

It looks like he sent an email to the majority of folks on my “Change of Shift” list, so I won’t send out an announcement this week.

As I am sitting in Oakland International Airport en route to Charlotte, North Carolina by way of Salt Lake City, I intend to read every single post!

Our next host will be Miss-Elaine-ious, RN and submissions can be sent to “misselaineious1 at gmail dot com” or through Blog Carnival.

Bet you are wondering why I’m at the airport!

I’m goin’ to the NASCAR All-Star Race this weekend, complete with tour of garage area, pit area and a VIP event with Dale Jarrett!

I’m going to be in the same venue as Kasey Kahne (sigh!) and plan to boo Kyle Busch off the track. Arrogance personified, that man is!

Should be a blast, as I am going with my friend from Jr. High; my husband calls us Thelma and Louise.

I have so much to blog about, but Benadryl, Meclizine and blogging do not mix.

I’ll blog more when I get to Salt Lake City!

I am going to the Coke 600 next weekend! Have lots of fun, yes, boo Busch loudly. He is picking up the boos his brother used to get all the time! I can’t say I won’t be cheering for the 9 car, as I’ll be watching the FedEx 11 LOL

Have fun in Concord! A lot of my family live within earshot of the speedway, but alas I am on the west coast now. Wave to NC for me and enjoy!
