An Apple(quack) Grand Rounds!

I know, I know.

The actual theme of this week’s Grand Rounds over at Applequack.com is “The Sound of Music”.

But how could I resist a reason to use a photo of THE Apple on the blog?

After all, Dr. Cris writes about Apple and medical stuff, right?

And besides, I have a horrible confession to make.

“The Sound of Music” is not one of my favorite movies.

I’ve tried, really, I’ve tried.

Hubby says it’s because it doesn’t star Jeff Goldblum and/or Will Smith.

Yeah, right!

And now a word about mental health.

Mine.

Kasey Kahne did not make the Chase for the Sprint Cup.

Depressing, to say the least. So close, yet so far.

Oh, all is not lost – he can still win races.

He just can’t win the Sprint Cup.

So…for the next ten races we can watch as Tony Stewart throws his temper tantrums, Kyle Busch displays his arrogance and Jimmy Johnson acts like the trophy is already his.

Not that I’m bitter, or anything.

The only bright spot is that Dale Earnhardt, Jr. is in the Chase and I have a secret crush on him I like him a little.

I’m still pretty sure I’m responsible for Kasey getting into the All Star race in May, sitting up all night and voting in a lonely hotel room in North Carolina.

Hey, a girl can dream can’t she?
